Why Is My Transfer Pending?

Pending transfers can occur for numerous reasons. Here are the two most likely causes of pending transfers:

1. Verification and Security Checks

All financial platforms must abide by certain regulations. These regulations require banks and digital payment platforms like Bold to place a hold on any suspicious transactions while we investigate them.

2. Network Errors

Since transfers between banks involve an exchange of information between two or more different servers, network errors and other technical disruptions can occur.

What Can You Do About It?

The good news is that a pending transfer will either be completed once the underlying issue has been resolved, or it will be reversed to your account. Here’s what you can do to help speed up the process:

1. Wait Patiently

In many cases, pending transfers resolve themselves once the necessary verification, processing, or technical issues are addressed.

2. Contact Customer Support

If you’re concerned about the amount of time a transfer is taking, one thing you can do is contact our customer care. Be sure to provide as much detail as you can, including your account number (the phone number you used to register on Bold) and screenshots if possible.
